Hello from Namarta

Hi,
I am  from India.I have done masters in Matematics and bachelors of education there and was teaching maths for the last six years in a convent school. Here I am doing GCTLT in Otago polytechnic.Flexible learning is apart of this program and I want to apply the concepts of flexible learning in my further teaching practice.

Hi Namarta, I just wanted to add a comment about the beautiful lotus flower - to a mathematician the lotus must be the almost perfect flower for form and geometric design, I love them, and I'm not a mathematician, but a midwife. I can appreciate their beauty and form as an opening bud, and relate this to some powerful birth images of a baby's head crowning in a lotus flower - this was the logo of a birth activist's organisation back in the 1980s, and remains in my mind as a strong symbol.So thanks for reminding me about it with your lovely image.
